I still remember my holiday last year together with my family in Cork; particularly two unforgotten places we spent lots of time visiting. The very first day, we got no trouble at all as we booked immediately with car rental cork airport. All formalities were made very fast. We received good advices from the car company as far as the famous places we could visit during the two weeks are concerned.

As we reached the airport of Cork at night, so we had to drive directly to our hotel to rest. The following day, the weather was bright and shiny. We heard so much about the Blarney Stone, so we made our way to Blarney Castle very early in the morning.

It was amazing how all visitors were queueing in order to kiss the famous stone, situated on top of the castle battlements. According to the traditions, those who kiss the stone will receive the gift of eloquence. So, we too queued up to do same. We went afterwards for a long walk in the huge park and enjoyed the fresh air. Really one day was not enough to visit all the village. There are lots of wonderful places. We did nice shopping in the Blarney Woollen Mills and in the other outlets as well. It was a real pleasure.

Our next visit, we drove to Fota Wildlife Park. It was very interesting to see how giraffes, zebras, ostrich and antelope roam together. So cute were the monkeys as well. The kangaroos, macaws and lemurs enjoyed the freedom of the Park.too. We were happy that the cheetahs have solid fence.

Those days are never to be forgotten and I wish to go back again for the next holiday.
