It really worths a visit to the museum each time I visit Cobh. I never get bored reading about the social, cultural and maritime history of the Great Island and Cobh. In advance I used to book my hours to spend in the genealogical reference section at the museum.
I wonder, each time I look at the colourful houses which they called the “Deck of Cards”, how the builders constructed them so beautifully from up the road to down and on such a steep street. It is so amazing. I have already lots of pictures taken of them from all sides of the street. I mean from up and then from down. I have no problem moving around, for I booked for one week with car hire cork city.
Last time I visited Cobh, I left the car at the garage, and enjoyed the pleasure of travelling by train to cork city and then back. It is a very short trip which costs almost nothing but a lovely ride. When I went to Cork city, I sat on the left side and enjoyed all the beautiful views. And on my way back I enjoyed the views from my left side. I spent a wonderful time.
