My Name is Aneeka and I am from Mauritius, a small island in the Indian Ocean. I came in Ireland to pursue further studies in a college at Shannon.

I landed for the first time in the aroport of Dublin and had to travel by car hire Ireland all the way to shannon. I was very fascinated by the beauty of the nature. All through the countryside and towns I could see flowers and beautiful plants. The cattles, the horses , the sheep among other animals captured my attention. It was amazing to look at them feeding themselves in the open fresh air and on the green grass; ignoring the rain and the wind.

I was very impressed by the colourful town and all the pots of flowers from everywhere, some hanging up the restaurants, bars, hotels, council and some houses are beautifully decorated. At some places I stopped for a rest and went for a coffee and some snacks. The Irish people are very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

I noticed also all the churches along the way. At the beginning, I started trying to count, but I gave up after some times. There are so many. I was thinking already to book again next time especially to visit as much as I can. Anyway I certainly will have time for more plans in the future.

I reached Shannon finally exausted but very happy. All what I had admiring so far are still so fresh in my memory up to now.
